Today

Good morning. Well, today is starting out as a gorgeous and magnificent day. Radiant green palms, brilliant blue sky, fresh crisp cool morning air and quite stillness surrounding me. This is a perfect time to use as a point of meditation, to visualize specific events and people I want to embrace as my day unfolds. I will lite an incense for a sweet aroma that will help energize my senses and inspire a sweet desire for a compassionate spirit today, a grateful spirit, a humble spirit and charitable spirit to consume this body today. I choose today to have an open heart and mind to the needs of others, that I will recognize a greater reason for our paths crossing and I will understand that my willingness to serve others before myself will be fulfilling the greatest royal law, “LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF”.

Mana

In the Hawaiian language Mana means "ENERGY" or "POWER". We choose our Mana every day from the moment we open our eyes and take in our first cleansing breath. As our body fills with new clean oxygen, we become aware that we are awake now, our mind is empty like a clean slate with nothing on it and we realize an awkward state of stillness, peacefulness, quietness and almost a feeling of being lost. But this should not be so strange, this place of aloneness should be comfortable, freeing and safe. This is the place where we CO-CREATE our day. This is where we choose our Mana, our Energy or Power and begin to visualize what kind of day we are going to experience. It is a very empowering feeling when we know that our day will unfold as we choose. We can co-create a day with enlightenment, positiveness and high vibration energy which will attract the same forces in the people and experiences in your day. Use this awareness and choose your Mana. It was intended from the beginning of your very existence to live in a "life giving power", a "high energy vibration", a Mana that exudes LIFE.

Meditation~ time to prepare for

hmmmm, while waiting did you happen to think about or act on meditation?

Well, even if you just got to see the title of this post, I know that at least a spark of curiosity of what Meditation is got its chance to stir around in your state of consciousness and get stored in your subconscious mind. Meditation is a powerful tool for us to use and apply in these busy and stressful times we are living in. Meditation is being used by everyone from all walks of life from all over the world and even being practiced by the youngest to the oldest members of families. It is a time used for centering, healing, refreshing and to plan or prepare for while being still. The combination of clearing the mind and feeding the body with each breath is a time of cleansing and setting up your vision that you are intending for your hour, day and life. There is also clearly a breaking down of an earlier misconception that meditation was part of a certain religion or group of people, when in fact research has shown that this practice is necessary in maintaining a state of optimal health both physically and mentally. No matter who you are or where you live, wellness, balance and self control are being concentrated on and developed so that we may remain whole and complete. Meditation is the first step to implement in our lives so that we may acquire Peace of Mind Body and Soul. When we are choosing to begin our journey with the intention of high vibrational energy, positiveness and light it is important to take the steps that will lead to our experience the way we are envisioning our outcome to be.

Stress is the cause of our immune system breaking down and mental illness taking place in our lives. Stress constricts and shortens the flow of good energy and creates blocks that eventually lead to a breakdown of Mind Body and Spirit. Meditation offers our mind and body time to restore itself and prepare itself for whatever is to come. Breathing opens our circulation and allows our body to function in its fullest capacity. Life is busy these days and is quick to spiral out of control so it is up to us to be more active in managing our health, wellness and state of mind. Businesses are now being designed to be the fastest, quickest, most convenient and as instant as possible in order to survive in any industry or market these days. In return this requires us to pick up our pace in order to keep up and not get left behind in the race of supply and demand or better, generating MONEY. Our health and wellness is far more important than money, because without wellness there will be illness and with illness there will be no business. Even the largest of corporate America is recognizing this fact and are requiring that their employees attend Wellness seminars that they are offering. Even some of the wealthiest most powerful business icons like Donald Trump, Oprah, Russel Simmons, Larry King and I could keep going are devoted to the practice of Meditation.

So, how do you meditate?

All you need is yourself, a quiet place and a comfortable position (sitting, lying down, chair). You may choose a soft instrumental or soundscape music, small waterfall or nothing at all. The goal here is to set aside 5 mins.( beginners)-30+ mins. (advanced) first thing in A.M. and before going to sleep at night. Morning time is for setting up your day and night time is for clearing the mind for a good nights rest. As soon as you are set, you want to close your eyes and begin with an exhale, completely emptying out your lungs and then inhaling through your nose, listening to each breath as it leaves and enters your body. When you are entering into this space of calm you want to also empty out any thoughts and losing yourself to your breath seeing only empty space. This space will be used throughout your day for making decisions, dealing with frustrations, anger, stress, anxiety, depression, hurt, lonliness, negative energy, giving up, doubt or anything else that doesn't serve your greater good. This practice can be done literally anywhere. It is the place inside of us where no one else may enter and a place where we are able to sort through anything without any interuptions in order to keep a calm and productive flow. With meditation there is no reason for addictions to consume our well being. Whether it is food, drugs, alcohol, sex, shopping, perfectionism whatever it is that you may lose your own self control to we can overcome it by using Meditation.

Remember, our focus is always going to be "what kind of energy are we carrying with us"? Making a decision of how we want our day to unfold will be carried out by how we begin our day. So start with Meditation, set your thoughts aside, feed your body and mind new oxygen, create that empty space within, and enter the realm of freedom and joy. You are the co-creator in this life and you can place yourself in PEACEFULNESS.

Energy is my Business

ENERGY. A force of expression.

We all have this inherent power, ENERGY, that exists in the depths of our tiniest most mega-microscopic life forms within our living bodies called "atoms". These atoms are what make up each and every living cell in our entire body. This ENERGY is the beginning and without it, there is NO life, there is NO form of expression.

So, if this is the beginning, then this must be where we should begin and this is why ENERGY is my business.

Since we are aware that Energy is a force of expression then we need to ask ourselves, "How do I want to EXPRESS myself"? Our Energy is going to be the center of how we express ourselves, how we are perceived, how we react, how we respond, and how we interact. Energy comes in forms of light and dark, high and low, up and down, positive and negative and we measure our energy in VIBRATION. Just the same as when we toss a pebble into a calm water, the energy forms where the pebble enters the water and the vibration creates ripples traveling outward. The vibration is measured by the size of the ripples caused by the amount of energy entered into the space of water. The same goes for us when we enter into any space. The type and amount of energy we carry will immediately have an affect on the space we step into and everything or everyone in it. I am not sharing this information for gain of power (as some would interpret), but instead for conscious understanding (feeding the subconscious mind).

My goal here is to help "service" and "empower" our mind, body and spirit by lifting our cellular expression (Energy) to Opimal Health so that we are able to express ourselves in a positive, light, high, up and living life form. We need to feed our cells well, keep them hydrated, and allow time for restoration and replenishing. What does this mean? I am referring to Healthy Diet, Water and Rest. Living is energy in motion and I am here to express my energy to you for a better life.

There are so many books, articles, BLOGS, CD's, DVD's and lessons on Diet, but I want to talk about the nutritional needs of our cells for a healthy high vibrational energy. Our cells use the nutrients we put into our bodies and turn it into energy which then is used by our organs, heart, brain, muscles and blood. Our cells are also highly dependent on hydration. In the same way that a grape turns into a raisin by dehydrating it, the cell can also become depleted and lose it's functioning abilities. Resting is by far just as important for our cellular regeneration, we do have billions of cells in our body, but over time these do die and are unable to keep reproducing. Resulting in what we know as "aging". So make it a point to feed your body well, proper hydration and rest so that your cells can become refreshed. Optimum health is obtainable, it just takes a little more conscious decision making and effort to do what is best for your energy levels.

Today, begin to use a little more thought when it comes to what you put into your body. Ask yourself, "is this going to energize my body or is it just empty calories"? Remember, it does matter and we all need to recognize that we are a soul living in this Temple we call our body. So treat it with the utmost respect and love and it will provide for you Great Health and long life in return.
